Race Waiver:

Event participants acknowledges the existence of certain risks inherent in any health, or endurance running or walking courses and hereby agrees to assume all risks of injury, illness or death to participants arising from participation in this 5k event. participants, and Parents of participants under the age of eighteen, hereby agree to hold harmless and release the City of Brookville, City of Brookville Police Department, and property owner of the facility where the event is held, coordinators, volunteers, staff, and his or her fellow participants from any and all liability or claim for damages for any injury, illness or death incurred as a result of the participants participation in this memorial 5K competition. The City of Brookville, City of Brookville Police Department, property owner of the facility, coordinators, volunteers or staff shall not be responsible for damage to the participant’s property or theft of participant’s property during participation in this Memorial 5k Competition. Participant also agrees that the City of Brookville Police Department may take pictures during the event, and participant hereby authorizes the City of Brookville Police Department to use and distribute these photos for the purpose of promoting the event including, but not limited to, brochures, flyers, and websites. Parent of participants under eighteen years of age hereby agrees to all the terms and conditions of this Release of Liability and Authorization for Use of Pictures. By checking the box, I affirm that I have read, understood and agree to the above terms and conditions.
