Tuesday was the July rendition of the Wright Tri Club Duathlon series.  We had a pro among us…  but Brian Barker’s course record of 46:21 still stands!  Thanks to all that came out to support the Wright Triathlon Club.  Kathleen Washington expressed her appreciation for all the club has done for her.  She has used the duathlons as a goal to help her get in shape.  Kathleen is moving to Texas so she won’t be with us next month, but we wish her the best.  How about Jerry Swartzel for Mr Consistency?  Exact same time the last two months… to the second!

Speedy Feet is proud to announce Wheelie Fun as the official sponsor for the Speedy Feet Triathlon Series for 2008.  The Speedy Feet Triathlon series consists of 5 events, each with a canoe, bike and run segment.  These are great events for athletes from the beginner to experienced multi-sport racer.  Unlike the traditional triathlon, there’s no swimming in these events.  Well, unless you manage to flip your canoe!  The series will pay prize money of $2450 so you should consider entering a few of these events.
